Experience one of today's most popular glass forming techniques. This class is specially designed for beginners a well as those who want to learn the fundamentals
associated with getting the most from this medium. Learn basic technical skills on how to manipulate the glass. This class will cover: how temperature affects glass,
glass compatibility, effects of using multiple layers of glass, and how to prepare a kiln. Projects will focus on basic technical skills, utilizing shape, textures, and visual
contrast. Students must have their own cutter, breaking pliers and straight edge. Glass and supplies are included.
Glass Fusing: Saturday and Sunday: 10am - 5:30pm July 12 and 13 Cost: 350.00 All glass included. (Min students 2 Max students 6)
In this two day hands-on- class you will learn the fundamentals of glass fusing, slumping theory and techniques. Students will discuss design ideas and apply them to
create fused pieces, slumping them into molds. You will take home several fused pieces . Students must have their own cutter, breaking pliers and straight edge.
Glass and supplies are included.
Fusing is Fun: Saturday: 3pm -7pm 07/26 Cost: 65.00 All glass included. (Min students 2 Max students 6)
Learn the basic technique for fusing. In this class you'll fuse 3 pieces for jewelry.
Stained Glass: Tuesdays 6pm - 8pm Aug 5 - Sept 16 Cost: 175.00 plus supplies. (Min students 3 Max students 6)
Approaching the design of Stained Glass. Scaling to full size working drawings and templates.
Glass Cutting techniques. Leadworking techniques. Soldering. Cementing, blacking and Polishing.
The course will be both intensive and fun!
Beginning Fusing One Day Intensive Class Aug 23 10am - 5pm
Learn the basics of making fused glass jewelry and more - all in one day! We are offering a great combination of several of our most popular classes in a
day-long workshop. Topics of instruction will include the basics of compatibility, kiln use & safety, along with more advanced techniques such as making
patterned dichroic pendants with decals, dicro slide, lava cloth, and etching cream. Another section of the class will be dedicated to refining and "editing" your
pendants using a lap grinder and ring saw. You will leave this class with several great quality pendants, the skills to make more, and most likely, a new passion!

There is a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee and registration is non- transferable. Classes that are under $50 Must be paid in full, at time of registration. There will
be a $25 fee for switching from one class to another, space permitting. Balance of the class fee is due two weeks prior to the start of class.
No refunds or credits of any payment will be made for notification of withdrawal within seven days of the start of the class, once class has started or for missed
classes. Prior to that time, we will refund your tuition minus the $50 non-refundable registration fee. We reserve the right to cancel a class if minimum enrollment isn't
met. In that case, all tuition and fees will be refunded. Notification of cancellation will be made by phone at least one day prior to the start of the class. Student will be
offered the option of another class, space permitting, or a full refund.
