Workshop for the beginner, who wants to know information on growing, cleaning and decorating
gourds.  This class offers each student their own cleaned birdhouse gourd and all supplies to paint
a home for a feathered friend.  Get a gourd ready for Spring and have fun learning!

Encaustic Wax Exploration!

Experiment using one of the oldest forms of painting.  Using a melted beeswax and resin mixture,
the student will learn methods of "painting", scraping, scratching an adding objects with this mix.  
Encaustic allows the student to explore creating unique textures and layering . All supplies and
instruction included in price.

ARTIST TRADING CARDS(ATC)/COLLAGE!
This workshop is a great way to get those creative juices flowing on a small scale.
All the CRAZE about ATC will be explored.  Using a 2.5"x 3.5" size of watercolor paper, the student
will incorporated collage, painting, stamping, distressing and whatever comes into the imagination.  
These small original works of art can be traded with other artists around the world! All supplies and
instruction included in price.

Ages: 15 and up

Sculpture class covers the principles used in classical art including proportion and the structure of
the human figure, portrait and figurative details. Students will learn the many possibilities of
expression through clay. This expression will be balanced with a solid sense of volume and the
human form.
Cost: 200.00 Plus 30.00 Supply fee (1 25lb bag of clay and firing)

BASIC SEWING CLASS: This class is designed for those who want to learn to
sew AND for those who want to learn to sew better! Level one students will
learn the basics of working with a pattern, fabric, and how to properly
operate a sewing machine. Sign up now and you will soon be wearing your
new creation.
Students should bring their own sewing machine and operating booklet.
