Wild Child Arts Seasonal Workshops Min of 5 students Max of 10 Wild Child Arts has expanded its program to include a variety of workshops for students who are interested in the arts. These workshops are designed to broaden perception, abilities, and affinity for many different media, as well as spark a desire for future investigation and learning as a young artist. FIGURE DRAWING & PORTRAITURE ages 9 and up Sept 11 or Oct 9 or Nov 13 or Dec 11 Saturday 10am – Noon $27.00 all supplies included Tired of drawing stick figures? Learn to draw 3-dimensional heads and figures using simple step techniques. Discover the fundamentals of drawing the human form and the structure of the human head. The student's power of observation and ability to capture the 3-dimensional quality of the figure will be challenging and fun to draw! Media such as, but not limited to, graphite, charcoal, pastels, and conte crayons will be used. WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE ages 7 and up Aug 7 or 14 or 21 Saturday 10am – Noon $27.00 all supplies included Learn to make a Wild Thing mask and create your very own Wild Thing monster. MONSTER WORKSHOP ages 7 and up Sept 18 or 25 Draw & sculpt your very own monster. Create a pop-up background to give it a home. Also, create a monster pin. HALLOWEEN WORKSHOP ages 7 and up Oct 2 or 16 Saturday 10am – Noon $27.00 all supplies included Learn to create a Halloween haunted house or Halloween figurines, such as a vampire, witch, and/or Frankenstein from clay. THANKSGIVING WORKSHOP ages 7 and up Oct 30 or Nov 6 Saturday 10am – Noon $27.00 all supplies included Learn to create a Thanksgiving house or make a clay scarecrow, and a Thanksgiving pin you can wear.
